I finally launched the April Monthly Theme. Preview it or make it your own. A few quick things about this one:
It uses a lot of CSS3 & Webkit only stuff (but works fine w/o Safari, too). 
It’s easy to change the gradient, waves, and link colors to your liking by using the ‘appearance’ tab on tumblr’s customize. 
Cross-browsered for FF3, Safari, IE7. 
No IE6 support (but it’s not terrible on there either).
It was a lot of fun to build. 
The tab style is totally inspired by the Atebits site created by the super-talented Tim VanDamme. The quote style is inspired by David Kaneda’s tumblog. 
I’ll submit it to the Theme Garden soon for easy install, but that’s been a pain lately. I wish tumblr were more transparent about the whole thing.
